The YF-S201 Water Flow Sensor is widely used in water dispensing systems, smart irrigation, water monitoring, coffee machines, and industrial liquid measurement applications. As water passes through the sensor, an internal rotor spins and produces pulse signals through a Hall-effect sensor. A microcontroller (Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi Pico, etc.) counts these pulses to calculate flow rate and total water volume.
