The TSOP2419 is a miniaturized infrared receiver module designed for remote control and IR communication systems operating at a carrier frequency of 19kHz. It integrates a photodetector, preamplifier, automatic gain control (AGC), band-pass filter, and demodulator in a single package, providing a clean digital output directly compatible with microcontrollers.The sensor offers excellent immunity against ambient light and electrical interference, making it suitable for reliable IR signal reception in consumer electronics, automation systems, remote-controlled devices, and embedded applications. The demodulated output can be connected directly to Arduino, ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi Pico, and other microcontroller platforms. TSOP24xx-series receivers are designed for specific carrier frequencies, with the TSOP2419 version tuned for approximately 19kHz operation.
