The TP4056 1A Li-ion Lithium Battery Charging Module with Current Protection (Type-C) provides a reliable charging solution for single-cell 3.7V Li-ion and Li-Po batteries. It integrates the TP4056 charging controller and DW01A protection circuit to ensure safe and efficient charging while maintaining battery longevity.

The module accepts a 5V DC input through a USB Type-C connector or solderable IN+ / IN− terminals. It delivers a constant current / constant voltage (CC/CV) charging profile with a maximum charging current of 1A, which can be modified by replacing the onboard current-setting resistor. The automatic charge-termination feature stops charging when the battery reaches 4.2V, preventing over-charging damage.

The built-in protection circuitry allows the module to supply power through the OUT+ and OUT− pins while shielding the battery from hazardous conditions such as deep discharge, overload, and short-circuit events.
