The Sound Detection Sensor Module is an audio-responsive electronic module that senses sound vibrations using an onboard high-sensitivity microphone. The module converts ambient sound waves into electrical signals and delivers both analog and digital outputs, making it compatible with microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi.
The analog output (AO) provides continuous real-time sound intensity measurement, while the digital output (DO) triggers HIGH/LOW based on the sound level and can be adjusted using the onboard potentiometer. The module includes an indicator LED that lights up when the DO signal activates, allowing easy visual debugging. It is widely used in voice-activated projects, noise monitoring systems, automatic lighting, and sound-triggered security systems.
