Product details
This module provides a single electromechanical relay channel, driven by a 12 V DC input/coil, with optical isolation (via optocoupler) between the control logic and the relay coil / contact side. It is designed to allow a logic or microcontroller-based control signal to switch a higher-power or higher-voltage device (for example, AC mains appliances, motors, solenoids, or other loads). The optocoupler protects the control circuitry from electrical noise, voltage spikes or surges from the switched load.
With screw-terminal connectors for the relay outputs (Common, NO, NC), LED indicator(s) for status, and mounting holes on the board, this is suitable for DIY electronics, home automation, industrial control prototyping or small-scale embedded / PLC-style control applications. The relay can switch up to 10 A at standard voltages (e.g. up to 250 V AC or 30 V DC), making it usable for moderate loads.
The control “trigger input” is compatible with 12 V logic or signals, and may support high-level / low-level trigger depending on model / jumper setting. Quiescent power draw is modest, and the board includes back-EMF (flyback) protection, indicator LEDs, and layout supporting reliable switching.
