MQ2 Smoke Sensor Module

The MQ2 Smoke Sensor Module uses a highly sensitive SnO₂ semiconductor gas sensor whose conductivity increases with rising levels of combustible gases and smoke in the environment. The module outputs an analog signal proportional to the gas concentration, enabling real-time monitoring.
A built-in comparator circuit with adjustable sensitivity (potentiometer) generates a digital alarm signal when the gas concentration crosses a user-defined threshold. Power and status indicator LEDs enhance usability and debugging.
The MQ2 module is widely used in home safety systems, industrial gas monitoring, smart automation, and fire-prevention devices. It is compatible with Arduino, ESP, STM, and Raspberry Pi platforms.
