MQ5- Methane LPG Gas Sensor Module

The MQ5 Methane LPG Gas Sensor Module is a highly sensitive semiconductor–based gas detector designed to measure combustible gases including methane, LPG, and natural gas. It features an onboard LM393 comparator for digital threshold triggering and an analog output for proportional gas concentration measurement. The sensing element integrates a heater coil and SnO₂-sensitive layer, which changes resistance when exposed to target gases.

The module also includes a potentiometer to adjust the sensitivity threshold, allowing users to customize digital triggering based on gas levels.
