The MAX3232 Serial Module is a bidirectional level converter designed to bridge the voltage gap between RS232 signals (±12V range) and TTL-level signals (0–3.3V or 0–5V). Built around the MAX3232 IC, this module supports serial communication at standard baud rates while maintaining signal integrity and protecting connected devices from voltage mismatches.
It includes onboard charge pump capacitors that generate the required RS232 voltage levels internally, eliminating the need for dual power supplies.
